Richard Otto Skrivanek, Architect, Accomplished Skater, Dies At 75

Richard Otto Skrivanek, 75, of Bayville, died on March 22, 2016 at Care One in Wall Township.

He was born on May 29, 1940 in New York City to Otto and Helen Skrivanek. He spent his early years growing up in Queens Village. He attended and graduated from the High School of Music and Arts in Manhattan and Pratt Institute; School of Architecture, Brooklyn.

His career spanned over 50 years providing clients with award-winning architectural designs, specializing in trophy kitchens. His work has been featured in media publications. He was an accomplished skater and dedicated to the skating community for many years.

He is survived by his brother Kenneth Skrivanek, Arizona, a niece Dr. Stefanie Spaeth, Texas and a nephew Dr. Zachary Skrivanek, Indiana, and his companion Ruth Devine, Brick, NJ.
