Second Man Charged In Jackson Restaurant Murder
Daniele Romeodisantillo lodged in the Ocean County Jail in lieu of $1 million bail.

A Manalapan man is lodged in the Ocean County Jail in lieu of $1 million bail after he was charged with the murder of a Jackson man last week at Casanova Restorante, Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph D. Coronato said.
Daniele G. Romeodisantillo, 27, turned himself in to the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit at Hooper Avenue in Toms River, spokesperson Al Della Fave said.
He is the second person to be charged in the shooting death of Peyman Sanandaji, 34, who was found dead of multiple gunshot wounds by Jackson police on the night of April 9. Police had responded to the defunct restaurant on New Prospect Road on a report of an injured employee.

Hector Calderon, South Street, Freehold, was arrested on April 10 without incident and charged with murder, possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes. His bail was also set at $1 million.
“Over the past week, the continuing investigation revealed that Daniele Romeodisantillo was also present at the time of the murder and that the shooting took place during the course of a meeting between Romeodisantillo, Calderon and the victim,“ Della Fave said.

Romeodisantillo is charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, he said.
The initial investigation determined that the victim was allegedly shot during the course of an altercation between Calderon and the victim. Having identified Calderon, the investigation quickly shifted to locating and apprehending him.
