Spot Illegal Fireworks In Berkeley? Call Police, Officials Say
If you notice illegal fireworks ahead of the Fourth of July weekend, let police know, officials said.

BERKELEY, NJ — While residents shared concerns about illegal fireworks, which have been increasing ahead of the upcoming Fourth of July weekend, Berkeley police assured locals to call them and police would handle it.
While non-explosive and non-aerial fireworks such as sparklers and snakes are legal in New Jersey, fireworks such as rockets and mortars are illegal.
This does not stop many from bringing them in and setting them off, with one Berkeley resident at a recent council meeting describing it as being "like a warzone on the water."
