BERNARDSVILLE AND GLADSTONE UM CHURCHES ARE COLLECTING ITEMS FOR SUPERSTORM SANDY VOLUNTEERS.
During October, as part of the sermon series Why Church, Bernardsville and Gladstone United Methodist Churches will be collecting items needed for volunteers that come to help with Superstorm Sandy recovery efforts as part of the Greater NJ Annual Conference’s “A Future with Hope” initiative. These items include toilet paper, boxes of tissues, paper towels, large cans of Lysol spray, kitchen trash bags, bathroom trash bags, large trash bags, cases of bottled water, and gift cards to Target or Walmart. Donations can be brought to Sunday worship at Bernardsville UMC (10:30 a.m. at 22 Church Street, Bernardsville, NJ) and Gladstone UMC (9:00 a.m. at 3 Jackson Ave, Gladstone, NJ), or left on the front porch of the parsonage at Bernardsville UMC throughout the week.
