Fighter Jet, Helicopter Investigate 'Events' In Bedminster Area
NORAD scrambled an F-16 fighter jet and a MH-65 helicopter to investigate "events" on Tuesday. Did you hear it?

BEDMINSTER, NJ — A very loud fighter jet was heard by area residents as the U.S. military confirmed they were investigating "events" on Tuesday in the Temporary Flight Restricted area surrounding President Trump's golf club.
The North American Aerospace Defense Command scrambled an F-16 fighter jet and a MH-65 helicopter to investigate the "events" on Aug. 13.
"NORAD directed F-16 fighter aircraft and an MH-65 helicopter to investigate the first event and F-16 fighter aircraft to the second event. The events concluded without incident," said NORAD Public Affairs.

Many residents took to social media to share what they heard.
"Anyone hear that loud and fast jet fly over Bradley Gardens at 12 noon today. It seemed to go over to Bedminster then back again a minute later. I was outside and saw nothing because it was above the cloud cover," said one Bridgewater resident.

"Yes it flew over by Eisenhower. Incredibly loud. Very cool!" said another resident.
"VERY LOUD," said another.
Donald Trump is currently vacationing at the Trump National Golf Club until Aug. 18.
A little over a week ago three planes were forced to land by a U.S. military aircraft on Aug. 2 and 3. The Aug. 2 incident was captured on video.(See Related: 3rd Plane Intercepted Near Trump NJ Weekend Spot)

NORAD sent out F-16 fighter jets on two separate occasions to intercept planes that violated a Temporary Flight Restriction on Aug. 2.
The third plane was reportedly grounded on Saturday after it entered the restricted area, according to News12. The plane was forced to land at Central Jersey Regional Airport in Hillsborough.
This is the third year in a row Trump is vacationing in Bedminster. Last year he spent 11 days at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster and 18 days in 2017. A TFR remains in effect through Aug. 18.
Since his inauguration, Trump has spent a total of 86 days at his golf club in Bedminster, which is more than any of his properties except Mar-a-Lago where he has spent 99 days, according to nbcnews.com.
