Free Concert at Bernardsville Library: The Carnaby St. Duo
A musical experience of the 1960's and early 1970's featuring music from the "British invasion" and various American artists.
The Friends of the Bernardsville Public Library invite you to a free concert with the Carnaby St. Duo on Sunday, May 1 at 3:00 pm at Bernardsville Public Library. Join us as they take listeners on a musical experience of the 1960’s and early 1970’s.
Featuring music from the “British invasion” along with various American artists, the duo breathes new life into the songs that are fondly remembered as the cornerstones of popular music’s favorite era—from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Moody Blues, The Who, The Dave Clark Five, The Bee Gees, and The Hollies to Simon and Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, The Monkees, The Byrds and one-hit-wonders of the time.
The Carnaby St. Duo—singers Chris Roselle on guitar and Pete Bremy on bass guitar—has performed with well recognized acts like The Moody Blues, Rod Stewart, The Kinks, The Temptations, The Grass Roots, Gary Puckett and The Monkees. Their rendition of music from the 1960’s is timeless and continues to appeal to people of all ages.
