Introduction to Self-Publishing Series: Session 1: Self-Publishing in Print at Peapack & Gladstone Library

Introduction to Self-Publishing Series
Are you a writer who is thinking about self-publishing? Join us to find out how you can publish your own book in print, electronically, and even in audio. Then, learn about the social media and other online tools you need to help you succeed.

Session 1: Self-Publishing in Print
Print-On-Demand technology has revolutionized the self-publishing industry. This presentation will review the major players, such as Amazon's CreateSpace, LightningSource, and Lulu. We will also cover traditional self-publishing services. Presented by Robert Helmbrecht, Librarian at the Hillsborough Library, and owner of small-press genre publishing company Hazardous Press.

Contact Diane Hahn at dhahn@sclibnj.org or Robert Helmbrecht at rhelmbre@sclibnj.org for more information.

Registration is required to Diane Hahn at dhahn@sclibnj.org, 908-234-0598, or by stopping at the library's circulation desk.

Look for Session 2: Self-Publishing eBooks and Audio in February and Session 3: Essential Tools and Websites for Self-Published Authors in March. Can't make this program? Check the Hillsborough, Bound Brook, Watchung, and Bridgewater calendars via http://somerset.lib.nj.us/ for additional dates.
