A 22-year-old New Brunswick man is wanted by the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office for his part in a Franklin Township home invasion last year.

Khalief James is one of three alleged suspects who broke into a Phillips Road apartment on June 25, 2013 while the tenant and his family were asleep, according to a release from the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office.

Police believe the suspects entered the apartment through the bathroom since a hand towel later found with James’ DNA on it linked him to the crime.

When the victim refused to hand over cash and jewelry to the suspects, he and his family were placed into the bathroom as the suspects stole two televisions, two cellular phones and a Play Station gaming system.
