Musical Notes: From Italy with Love, Free Concert
Tenor Salvatore Chiarelli will sing popular, traditional and classical Italian/Neapolitan songs, Italian opera and love ballads.

“One Book Bernardsville” programs continue this month at Bernardsville Public Library with a concert performance by tenor Salvatore Chiarelli on Sunday, October 25 at 2:00 pm. This second annual “One Book Bernardsville” features “The Lost Ravioli Recipes of Hoboken: A Search for Food and Family” by Laura Schenone. A shared community reading experience, it has included activities for both adults and children: a month of book discussions and thematically related programs on Italian food, wine, music and Bernardsville’s “Little Italy.”
On October 25, Mr. Chiarelli will sing popular, traditional and classical Italian/Neapolitan songs, Italian opera, and Italian/American love ballads. A world class performer, singer and entertainer, he has received rave reviews from critics.
Salvatore Chiarelli, a native of New York City, was vocally trained in both Italy and New York City for the opera stage. Having begun his performance career a few years ago, he has already been heard on television and radio as well as on opera stages in North America and Europe. He has performed as a soloist on satellite television reaching seventy-five countries around the world. At the outset of his vocal training, he was one of only three tenors chosen in the United States to participate in a five-week concert tour of Europe.
