New Water Main Construction Closes Portion of Roadway for 2 Weeks

A portion of South Maple Avenue will closed starting Wednesday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. while a new water main is installed, Bernards Township police said.

The portion of roadway scheduled to be closed is between East Oak Street and Collyer Lane. A detour will be set up to redirect traffic from South Maple Avenue onto South Finley Avenue, police said.

The detour will be in effect Monday through Friday for approximately two weeks while a new water main is installed, according to township police.
