Sundays at Three: A Celebration of the Art and Career of Frank Sinatra
A celebration of Frank Sinatra on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of his birth.

In commemoration of the 100th anniversary his birth, join us at Bernardsville Public Library on Sunday, October 11 at 3:00 pm for a free concert celebrating the art and career of Frank Sinatra performed by jazz singer Maggie Worsdale. This program is one of many library events connected with One Book Bernardsville taking place during the month of October and centering on The Lost Ravioli Recipes of Hoboken by Laura Schenone.
“Frank Sinatra created a genre of musical expression that has remained timeless and everlasting, and will live forever as long as it has a chance to be heard,” said Ms. Worsdale. “He and his music have no expiration date; they are always cool and current. He sang the great songs and expressed the words in a way that makes the listener understand the intentions of the songwriter.”
Concentrating on the Grade A standards at which Sinatra excelled, Ms. Worsdale will bring to each her own individual charm, personality, and swing. An international artist who has produced four albums, Ms. Worsdale was voted as one of the best jazz singers in New York and New Jersey in 2009 and 2010. She has performed at many of the major concert halls, cabarets and jazz venues around the country and in Europe, and was featured in the annual Sinatra Birthday Bash Celebration at the world-famous Count Basie Theater in Red Bank, NJ. Her voice defies categorization: jazz, Broadway, standards and novelty songs are all part of her repertoire.
