Trump To Spend 10-Day Summer Vacation In Bedminster
Here's how President Trump's vacation plans could impact your own — on the ground and in the air:

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — It looks as though President Donald Trump will once again be vacationing in Bedminster this summer. The Federal Aviation Administration issued a Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) for the Bedminster and Morristown area for Aug. 8 through 18.
This will be the third year in a row Trump is vacationing in the Garden State. Last year he spent 11 days at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster and 18 days in 2017.
Trump's 10-day vacation will have major impacts on traffic on the ground and in the air.

There are two major impacts when a VIP TFR is issued. First, there is a no-fly zone issued for anything within a 10 mile radius of Trump's National Golf Course in Bedminster. (See Related: Trump To Visit Bedminster For 18 Days, Will 'Devastate' Local Airports)
This essentially shuts down airports such as Somerset Airport and Solberg-Hunterdon Airport in Whitehouse Station.

The second part of the TFR is the second ring, which impacts a much larger radius of airports. The second ring encompasses a 30-mile radius which includes 17 other airports such as Princeton Airport, Old Bridge Airport and Central Jersey Regional Airport in Hillsborough.
Flights within the 30-mile radius can still have aircrafts fly out of the airport to somewhere outside the ring or land from outside the ring to an airport inside.
However, all other operations are prohibited such as flight training, aerobatics, hot air ballooning, helicopters, skydiving, biplane rides and technically even flying a model airplane.
Along with flight restrictions, locals can also expect major delays or road closures during his travel times on Route 10, Route 24, and Interstate 287 and 78 around the airport and the golf club.
Trump is also planning on visiting his golf club this coming weekend as the FAA issued a VIP Movement Notification for the Bedminster and Morristown area from Friday, Aug. 2 through Sunday, Aug. 4.
Trump has already visited Bedminster twice this year. His last visit on July 19 to 21 for a political fundraiser resulted in a surprise when Trump crashed a wedding at the Trump National Golf Club. (See Related: Trump Crashes 'MAGA'-Themed Wedding In Bedminster: Video)
Since his inauguration, Trump has spent a total of 77 days at his golf club in Bedminster, which is more than any of his properties except Mar-a-Lago where he has spent 99 days, according to nbcnews.com.
