Young Artists perform in annual Vocal Competition

Come witness the final round of this performance-style competition featuring extraordinary young singers from around the United States who are pursuing careers as operatic vocalists. The selected finalists will compete in a public forum in front of a celebrated collection of jurists for top prizes. Three winners are awarded cash prizes at the end of the competition: 1st prize of $5,000, 2nd prize of $3,000, and 3rd prize of $1,500. Many previous finalists and winners are now on the rosters of the Metropolitan Opera, New York, and other major companies here and abroad. The competition is complimented by a fully catered luncheon at 12:30, which serves as a fundraiser for Opera at Florham’s 2015-2016 concert season.

The competition will take place in Lenfell Hall, The Mansion, at Fairleigh Dickinson University, 285 Madison Avenue, Madison, NJ. Fancy refreshments will be served at intermission.
