$2500 Bloomfield Car Burglary: Guitar, Gucci Hat Missing
A Bloomfield resident lost an expensive guitar during a vehicle burglary, police say.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A Bloomfield resident lost his guitar during a vehicle burglary earlier this month, the second time that a local has lost expensive musical items due to theft in the space of a week, authorities say.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, a Watsessing Avenue resident reported that he parked his vehicle in the driveway of his home on Sunday, Oct. 21. When he returned to his car at 6 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21, he saw that a guitar and other musical items were missing.
The value of the stolen items – which also included a Gucci hat and two shirts – came to $2,500, police said.

On Oct. 14, a car was stolen with $1,000 worth of musical instruments inside, Bloomfield police previously reported.
The owner of a 2014 Ford Focus stated that he last saw his vehicle on Oct. 13 around 7:30 a.m. When he went to check on the vehicle on Oct. 14 at 11:30 a.m., the vehicle was missing, police said.
