BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield held a memorial event to remember 9/11 victims on the 25th anniversary of the attacks last week.
The town's ceremony took place Friday on the Historic Town Green.
In honor of the 2,977 lives lost, luminary bags decorated by Bloomfield High School students and teachers were displayed around the perimeter of the Historic Town Green. The bags remained lit until 9:11 p.m.
Bloomfield's local victims included Cesar A. Alviar, Catherine Nardella, and Daniel Rossetti.
