• Monday Night Music at the Oakside Cultural Center (TAPinto.net) — Bloomfield's Oakside Cultural Center is being reimagined as a lively, accessible hub for Monday Night Music and other arts events, while preserving the historic Oakes House. Local leaders and musicians are curating diverse, mostly classical performances that invite residents inside a landmark many had only admired from the street, strengthening Bloomfield's cultural life and community connections.
• Orange Daily Buzz: Oct. 6, 2026 (jerseybee.org) — Essex County residents get a roundup of upcoming events, from free preschool registration in Orange to workshops, art shows, and author talks in Maplewood and Montclair. Bloomfield library users should note that starting October 8, they'll need their library password to keep using the Libby app, and can contact the Bloomfield Public Library for help resetting it.
