Fabian Rosario Wins for Guerrero BJJ

On Saturday, August 4th in Wildwood NJ, students from The Guerrero Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy, from Caldwell NJ, participated in the NAGA Battle at the Beach tournament.

This tournament was a big opportunity for most of the students at Guerrero BJJ to be involved in because it was a new experience for them. There were over a thousand competitors at that tournament.

The Guerrero Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy had four students involved in the NAGA Battle at the Beach tournament. The kids who participated in the tournament were Serena Warner from Verona and Sandra Guerrero from West Orange. The adults that participated were Fabian Rosario from Bloomfield and Rob Ridlen from Butler. All four of them placed high in their divisions.

Fabian Rosario is the head instructor at The Guerrero Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy located in Caldwell and is currently ranked a Brown Belt in Jiu-jitsu. He has been doing Jiu-Jistu for about 10 years now and has been in large amount of tournaments. He is a graduate from Bloomfield High School and was 7th in the state for Bloomfield Wrestling. He is currently a student at The Essex County College. Fabian won a gold belt in the Gi for the Men’s Brown Belt 150-159.9lb division at Saturday’s tournament.

The other students won as well. Serena Warner won a silver medal in her Gi division. Sandra Guerrero won gold in her no Gi expert division as well as in her Gi expert division. Lastly, Rob Ridlen won gold in his no Gi division and also won bronze in his Gi division.
