I want to thank the Bloomfield Center Alliance for putting this event together and Bloomfield College for graciously hosting various stakeholders in the community last night. An open and honest discussion took place about the future of this downtown revitalization and Bloomfield. I hope that this was informative and enlightening for Bloomfield residents hearing a lot of distortions and falsehoods about this redevelopment.

This has been a long and sometimes frustrating process – I understand firsthand some of the concerns expressed tonight by Bloomfield residents and business owners. We are now finally in a position to move forward with construction of the parking deck and begin a new era in Bloomfield. Bloomfield possesses so many valuable assets – access to mass transportation, major thoroughfares, and proximity to New York City, to name a few – that I know are going to help us be successful as we beginning renting units and assembling a full offering of dining and retail services.
As a property owner in Bloomfield for the past ten years I do not consider myself a normal developer. I work in Bloomfield every day. I am an active member of the business and civic communities in Bloomfield. My partners and I own several properties in Bloomfield, including the famous Frank M. Leo building located on Broad Street. I am dedicated to seeing this project through to completion and look forward to playing a role in the revitalization of Bloomfield.
