• The Girls Bowling team captured first place in the American Division of the Super Essex Conference for the third year in succession. The Boy keglers finished in second place behind Nutley.

• Boys Basketball continues to roll. They bested Orange twice last week, once in league play and once in Essex County Tournament play. The squad advances to the quarterfinals where they will play host to the Blue Knights of Irvington. The roundballers 13-3 record also assured them a number three seed in the upcoming State Tourney.

• The indoor track team competed at the Essex County individual championships at Seton Hall University. Bengal Hurdlers Carissa Smith and Steve Taste both earned Bronze medals in their respective 55m hurdles races. The Girls 4X400 meter relay team finished in sixth place.

• Wrestling ran the gauntlet of fine competition this week hosting Millburn, High Point, Mahwah, Central Regional and Marlboro. The team emerged with two wins. Nate Garcia and Ian Chauncey both had unbeaten weeks. The future of the program looks promising with the JV teams first place finish in the county tournament. Norberto Gomez-113, Justin Corio-152, Siheba Stevens-160 and Nick Saccaro-220 won individual weight classes.
