Bloomfield Camera Club Exhibit Opens Tomorrow

The Opening Reception will take place at the Civic Center on Thursday, May 17; the show will run May 17-June 9.

 

An Opening Reception for a Photography Exhibit by the Bloomfield Camera Club will take place at the Civic Center on Thursday, May 17 from 7pm to 9pm.  The Civic Center is located at 84 Broad Street.

The public is invited to attend.  Refreshments will be served!

Camera Club Instructor Otis Sullivan said he is grateful for the support of Michael Sceurman, the Director of Recreation at the Bloomfield Civic Center, who provided space for the Camera Club's weekly meetings, and for their first Photography Exhibit.

The Club is currently comprised of 15 active members. The exhibitors at the show will be: Dj'ery Dolcé, Eneida Joseph, Elzbieta Kaciuba, Paul Nunes, Anthony Scala, Zulma Colon, Rose Pezzullo and Gwen Van der Zyppe.

Dj'ery Dolcé is a school teacher and pro photographer, Elzbieta Kaciuba is a professional photographer, Paul Nunes won your Bloomfield Patch "fall color" photography contest! Anthony Scala is a professional photographer.  Gwen Van der Zyppe is a real estate agent.

Sullivan is an Art Director, with a background in Pharmaceutical Advertising, CME (continuing medical education), and Promotion. He has worked on Pfizer (Lipitor), Mylan/Bertek Pharma, IBM, Nestle, Time Magazine, Penthouse Magazine,and Ziff-Davis Publications.

Sullivan is also an award-winning photographer, having won the Time Magazine "Power of Print" Award, the YMCA Gold Medal, Art Direction Magazine "Certificateof Distinction", a CEBA Award for Excellence, and a Graphics:NY Desi Award.

Sullivan designed the OMNI magazine logo and alphabet, the Time Inc. corporate logo, and has done promotions for Sports Illustrated magazine, among others.
