An oral care center in Bloomfield gave free dental services and education to almost 200 children from local Head Start programs.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — An oral care center in Bloomfield recently provided free dental services and education to almost 200 children from preschool and daycare Head Start programs in Essex County.
During a week-long series of events earlier this month at KinderSmile Community Oral Health Center on Broad Street, children from Head Start programs based in East Orange, Montclair, Bloomfield, West Orange and Newark got a chance to visit volunteer dentists and hygienists.
Since its founding in 2007, the Bloomfield-based KinderSmile Foundation has impacted over 15,000 low-income families and provided more than $4 million in dental services, according to event organizers.
