Bloomfield Cops Announce DWI Checkpoint: Bloomfield Avenue, May 5

The Bloomfield Police Department will conduct a DWI sobriety checkpoint on Bloomfield Avenue.

Bloomfield, NJ – The Bloomfield Police Department will conduct a DWI sobriety checkpoint on Bloomfield Avenue on Thursday, May 5.

According to the BPD, the checkpoint will be launched in response to statistics “demonstrating a demonstrating a disproportionate number of drunk driving incidents in the area.”

The operations are being conducted to raise awareness of impaired driving by educating motorists and arresting impaired drivers, police stated.
