Bloomfield Cops Arrest Montclair Man For Drug Possession After Car Chase
The brief pursuit began on Bloomfield Avenue and ended on Linden Avenue.

Police arrested a Montclair man for heroin and marijuana possession on July 6, following a short car chase on Linden Avenue in Bloomfield.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, an officer attempted to stop a 2012 Nissan that was traveling on Bloomfield Avenue around 7 a.m.
Instead of stopping, the driver – later identified as Allen Llardo, 44 – allegedly sped up and attempted to evade the officer until finally halted in a driveway on Linden Avenue in Montclair.

After arresting Llardo, police found a Zip Lock bag containing a substance believed to be marijuana and 14 glassine bags containing what was believed to be heroin in his possession.
Police charged Llardo with possession of heroin and marijuana, and transported him to the Essex County Correctional Facility pending a court appearance.

His bail was set at $50,000 full.
