BLOOMFIELD, NJ — What local candidates emerged victorious in Bloomfield for the 2017 general election? Here are the latest results, according to the Essex County Clerk’s Office.

With 100 percent of districts reported, here are the results:

• Jenny MUNDELL - 78.27% (2,013 votes)
• David G. TUCKER, Sr. - 21.73% (559)

TOWN COUNCIL, 2ND WARD (1 Open Seat)

With 91 percent of districts reported, here are the results:

• Nicholas JOANOW - 78.02% (2,613)
• Ciro A. SPINA, III - 21.89% (733)
• Write-In - 0.09% (3)

TOWN COUNCIL, 3RD WARD (1 Open Seat)

With 93 percent of districts reported, here are the results:

• Sarah CRUZ - 85.59% (2,001)
• Pedro TAVERAS, Jr. - 14.37% (336)
• Write-In - 0.04% (1)

BOARD OF EDUCATION (3 Open Seats)

With 95 percent of districts reported, here are the results:

• Jessica SALINAS - 25.94% (3,727)
• Thomas HEANEY - 23.08% (3,316)
• Ellen ROGERS - 21.03% (3,021)
• Michael HELLER - 14.96% (2,149)
• Emily M. SMITH - 14.71% (2,114)
• Write-In - 0.29% (41)
