Bloomfield Hosts Halloween Festivities October 22
"Scream on the Green" will be wicked fun!

Parents and children are invited to the Town Green at 2 p.m., on Oct. 22 for the township's annual "Scream on the Green" Halloween celebration.
There will be several activities - incuding a "Guess the Weight of the Pumpkin" contest, trick or treating, refreshments and a bean bag toss. At 3 p.m., magician Bob Conrad will perform a Halloween Magic Show.
The event is free of charge and visitors are encouraged to come in costume. The Bloomfield Recreation Department was assisted by local sponsors, including the Brookside Garden Center, Bloomfield FMBA and Bloomfield PBA, in planning this event.

Joe Fischer, the magician who is performing for the Halloween festival, is also offering classes for children in grades kindergarten through sixth, to learn magic tricks. Classes will be held on Mondays from Oct. 1 to Nov. 28 at the Bloomfield Civic Center, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The cost is $55. Children interested can sign up at the civic center or online.
The celebration may be moved to the Bloomfield High School cafeteria in case of inclement weather. call ahead on the day of the Halloween celebration to find out the location 973-743-7593 after 12:30 p.m.
