BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A Bloomfield High School alum will be putting her political know-how to work for the 2020 presidential campaign of Joe Biden.
Earlier this month, the former vice president added six senior staff members to his campaign team. The new staffers have been assigned an important task: attract more women and minority voters.
Carissa Smith – who will be taking on the mantle of “national women’s vote director” – may be a familiar face to many Bloomfield residents. She graduated from Bloomfield High School and was recently named Miss New Jersey Cherry Blossom 2019.
