BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Authorities charged three Newark men with robbery after they allegedly held up a Bloomfield gas station at gunpoint earlier this month, authorities said.
According to the Bloomfield Department of Public Safety, Quashawn Johnson, 19, Jamal Williams, 27, and Saheem Martin, 29, all of Newark, have been identified as the men who robbed the Shell gas station on Watchung Avenue in Bloomfield on the night of Jan. 10.
Bloomfield police originally reported that men in a black Range Rover pulled into the station and asked the attendant for $20 of gas. After the employee dispensed the gas and collected payment, the vehicle backed up and one of the men got out of the rear passenger seat, brandishing a silver handgun.
