Recent Highlights from the district:

The "" national anti-violence program visited Bloomfield  students January 25 and 26.  The purpose of the program, inspired by Rachel Scott, 16, killed in the Columbine High School shootings, was to teach students the power of empathy, kindness and compassion.

This program coincided with the ongoing Anti-Bullying efforts in the Bloomfield school district and throughout the state of New Jersey.  In the coming weeks, BHS students will make a "chain of kindness and compassion" out of paper, for display in the school cafeteria.
