Bloomfield Street Sweeping Announced: Broughton, Oak View, Brookdale

Bloomfield, NJ - The Bloomfield Department of Public Works and Parks will conduct a special street sweeping operation on Thursday, March 31.

According to a DPW social media post, the street sweeping will take place on all the non-posted side streets off Broughton Avenue, in addition to all streets in the Oak View and Brookdale sections of town.

"In order for your street to be swept efficiently, we are requesting that cars not be parked on the street this Thursday, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.," DPW officials announced. "While this is not mandatory, we hope you will adhere to our request, so we can sweep your street in the best way possible. We waited for Winter to be behind us before we announced this plan and as always, our goal is to make your Quality of Life that much better."
