Essex County Professor Claims To Have Discovered Early Draft Of King James Bible

The Montclair State University professor may have made one of the most important KJB-related finds in decades, a report says.

A professor at Montclair State University is claiming to have made a unique discovery… the earliest known draft of the King James Bible.

Jeffrey Miller, an assistant professor of English at MSU, says that he took research photographs of a notebook belonging to Samuel Ward, a 17th-century biblical scholar, during a trip to Cambridge University last year.

Months later, after additional research, Miller was astonished to find that the notebook contained draft portions of the King James version of the Bible, which was published in 1611.
