Sweet Avenue Bakeshop, a gourmet vegan bakery, is hosting Cupcakefest, an all-day concert and festival to benefit the Bloomfield Animal Shelter and the NJ SPCA, on Saturday June 23, from 1-7pm. Cupcakefest will feature a full day of great bands performing at the Lincoln Park Band Shell (176 Park Ave) in Rutherford, NJ. In addition to the great local music, Cupcakefest also includes many awesome crafters and vendors, yummy cupcakes, raffles, and a cupcake eating contest to top off the day. Attendees are encouraged to bring a monetary or pet food/supply donation for the Shelter and/or the SPCA. Donations of all types are always needed and always appreciated. Bloomfield Animal Shelter particularly needs towels at this time.
