"Our Yesterdays Lengthen Like Shadows," the first performance in the Youth Band's 25th Anniversary Season, takes place Friday, Dec. 10, at 8 p.m. at Bloomfield Middle School, under founding Director Patrick Burns.
Featured works will include "Echoes of the Hollow Square" by Johnnie Vinson, "Our Yesterdays Lengthen Like Shadows" by Samuel R. Hazo, "Valelrius Variations" by Philip Sparke, and "La Boutique Fantasque" by Rossini/Respighi. James Caldwell High School senior Andrew Rosenberger will perform Carl Maria vonWeber's Concertino for Clarinet.
