Paper Shredding Event

 

The Bloomfield Recycling committee and the Department of Public Works and Park Maintenance will host the first annual community shredding event on Saturday, May 5th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the municipal parking lot located next to the Post Office.

Resident in the township are being provided the opportunity to bring all their personal documents to be shredded and recycled at no cost. Green Sky Industries, a company committed to recycling in Bloomfield, will provide a shredding truck, driver, and laborers for this event which will last for four hours or until the truck is full to capacity.

Bloomfield residents will be able to dispose of their files and documents safely at this time. The paper shredding day is an opportunity for residents to reduce identity theft and to help support responsible paper recycling.

The Recycling Committee will be on site providing educational materials on recycling.
