ONCE
This untraditional movie musical is an unusual romance and a heartfelt film. Set in Dublin, a street musician and vacuum cleaner repairman (Glen Hansard) and a Czech immigrant (Markéta Irglová) work together to make a music demo disc to take to London. This film is the basis of the 2012 Tony Award-winning Best Musical, Once. Hansard and Irglová composed all of the original songs in the movie and won the Oscar for Best Original Song for “Falling Slowly”
