FALL CLOTHING DRIVE (Fundraiser) and USED TOY DRIVE (Donation)

Drive Up & Drop Off – Simple As That!!

Drop Off Location: Demarest Elementary School, 465 Broughton Avenue, (Teacher’s parking lot; Bloomfield)

When: Saturday, September 19th from 8 am until 4 pm

Items accepted: Men, women, and children’s clothing, shoes, hats, belts, ties, handbags, coats, jackets, bed linens, bath linens and stuffed animals (soft items fundraiser) and gently used toys (to be donated). Please bring items bagged or boxed. Please keep the soft items donation separate from the toy donation, as they will be going to two different locations.

Donate with Results:

1. Our school will earn $$!!! (soft items; $ per pound collected)

2. Items will not be cut into rags; it will be donated to local (NJ) thrift shops, pantries, etc. in areas in need of clothing!!!

3. You are saving the earth – does not end up in a land fill!!!

4. Gently used toys will be donated to either:

a. United Way of Bloomfield for their 1st Annual Garage Sale for proceeds to be used to help the local Bloomfield community with needs and/or distributed**

b. St. Ann’s Soup Kitchen & Pantry, Newark

**United Way’s 1st Annual Garage Sale will be held on October 4th at the Middle School, besides toys that comes through Demarest HSA, they are looking for toys, games, sports, seasonal, and furniture items - basically everything & anything. Their drop off information: 09/19 @ UWB Office (98 Broad St) from 10-3 and 10/3 from 9–3 at Bloomfield Middle School. Contact for this event: info@unitedwaybloomfield.org.
