Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey searching for Volunteers!
Become involved in your community by volunteering with Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey.
Girl Scout Heart of New Jersey (GSHNJ) serves 22,000 girls in Hudson, Essex, Union, Somerset, Hunterdon and parts of Middlesex and Warren Counties every year. We are in need of trustworthy, reliable and compassionate adult leaders to guide the thousands more who are excited to take part in a unique leadership experience only Girl Scouts can provide. Volunteering for GSHNJ can be as traditional as running your own troop and as progressive as hosting short-term series events on topics, such as health and fitness, arts and culture and STEM (science, technology, engineering and math).
Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey offers both short and long-term volunteer opportunities. Volunteers have the ability to work directly or indirectly with girls. However you choose to volunteer, you will be assisting girls to learn and practice leadership skills that will support them throughout their lives. Volunteers are needed for the following roles:
-Troop Leader
-Trainer
-Service Unit Team Member (works with adults in an administrative capacity)
Minimum Age: Volunteers must be 18 and older
Volunteers Needed: Weekdays/Weeknights/ Weekends
