The YMCA of Montclair and the Montclair Department of Recreation and Cultural Affairs will host the 32nd annual Montclair Run on Sunday, June 1. The race includes a fun 2 mile walk/run and a 10K. Both races begin in front of the YMCA of Montclair, 25 Park Street in Montclair; the 2 mile walk/run starts at 8:30 am and the 10K at 9:30 am. Prizes are awarded after each event. In addition to the races, a moonwalk, refreshments and sport massages will be available.
All proceeds go towards community scholarships. Racers of all ages and abilities are welcome. To register, visit www.raceforum.com/montclair. Paper applications are also available at the YMCA of Montclair, the Township of Montclair’s Department of Recreation & Cultural Affairs at 205 Claremont Ave. and Fleet Feet Sports at 603 Bloomfield Ave. Same day registration opens at 7:00 am.
