• Bloomfield Honors Local Family, 'Selfless' Resident With Awards (patch.com) — Bloomfield has recognized the Tice Family and resident Daniel Bitecola III with its 2026 community service awards for years of volunteer work in youth sports, civic groups, and local charities. Their efforts include the long-running Santa Night tradition, which gathers toys for the Bloomfield Police Youth Aid Division and brings neighbors together. The honors were presented during the town's rescheduled Independence Day Celebration at Foley Field.
