A new African restaurant, La Braise African Grill, has also launched in town, while nearby Montclair, Nutley, and other communities are adding everything from Italian spots to coffee shops and fitness studios.

Soccer Preview: Verona and Bloomfield Have Made a Habit of Blowouts, and Now They Meet (maxpreps.com) — Bloomfield High's Bengals host Verona today at 11 a.m., coming off a dominant 6–0 win over Payne Tech and riding a strong 7-1-1 season record. With Bloomfield's offense scoring 30 goals in their last six games, this matchup against a road-tough Verona squad should offer local fans an exciting, high-scoring contest close to home.
