Shred It: Bloomfield To Hold Free Paper Shredding Event
Previous shredding events in Bloomfield have proved to be popular; more than 14 tons of paper have been safely disposed of over the years.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Are you a Bloomfield resident who needs to dispose of some unwanted stacks of old bills, financial statements and other sensitive paperwork? Mark down Saturday, Oct. 14 on your calendar.
The township will hold a free shredding event from 9 a.m. to noon at the Pulaski Park parking lot, 24 Mount Vernon Avenue.
Previous shredding events have proved to be popular; more than 14 tons of paper have been shredded in Bloomfield over the years, town officials said.

The event is open to Bloomfield residents who provide proof of residency. It is not for commercial purposes or industrial facilities. For more information, call (973) 259-3162.
“I encourage all of our residents to safeguard their sensitive documents and protect their personal information by participating in this upcoming shredding event. Join us as we contribute to a safer community,” Mayor Michael Venezia said.
