Sound For the Hounds Saturday at Brookdale Park

Come out to the park for a fun, pet-inspired event -- music, food, and pups galore!

 

The second annual "Sound For the Hounds" is happening Saturday, September 8, at Brookdale Park!

The event lasts from 10am-5pm at Brookdlae Park on the Bloomfield/Montclair border.  It is free and open to the public, four-legged friends welcome!

Special guests include TV star Anne Marie Lucas from Animal Planet's Animal Precinct, Laura Flynn Amato from the HBO documentary Madonna of The Mills, and from Main Line Animal Rescue, Bill Smith, the initiator of the puppy mill show on Oprah.

The PUPPY MILL AWARENESS CONCERT will be a rocking good time!  There will be live music and food throughout the day, speakers and exhibits, and vendors with many different pet-friendly wares.  Rescue groups will be on-site with dogs for adoption and information about their groups.
