Tell Us: Are Bloomfield's School Lunches Healthy or Hazardous?
Patch asks parents to weigh in about their kids' school lunch.

Moms Talk is a new feature on Bloomfield Patch that is part of a new initiative on our Patch sites to reach out to moms and families.
Each week in Moms Talk, our Moms Council of experts and smart moms take your questions, give advice and share solutions.
Moms, dads, grandparents and the diverse families who make up our community will have a new resource for questions about local neighborhood schools, the best pediatricians, 24-hour pharmacies and the thousands of other issues that arise while raising children.

Bloomfield Patch's second Moms Talk Q&A focuses on what your kids are eating at school. We spoke to one mom in town who said her high schooler raves about the school lunches at BHS, while another mom was none too happy about the "chicken by-products and tater tots" served at Franklin Elementary.
A quick gander at the school lunch menues posted on the Bloomfield school district website shows plenty of Dominos pizzas, Rib-B-Ques and chicken nuggets to go around, but also a proportionate offering of fruits and greens each day.
