• Branchburg Taking Steps to Build New Annex for Police Station (tapinto.net) — Branchburg officials have introduced an $18.06 million bond ordinance to build a new municipal annex housing upgraded police headquarters and a true emergency operations center, replacing the township's outdated facility. Federal grant money and expiring township debt are expected to soften the tax impact, and residents can weigh in at a Sept. 28 public hearing as planning moves into a multi-year process.
