The arrests at a home in Sailors Quay were the result of a several-months-long investigation, police said.

BRICK, NJ — Four people were arrested Monday after a several-months-long investigation turned up heroin and crack cocaine that were being distributed from a home in the Sailors Quay development, police said.
About 70 wax folds of heroin and an undisclosed quantity of crack cocaine were seized, along with two bags of marijuana containing less than 50 grams and $429 in cash, said Brick Sgt. Neal Pedersen, the spokesman for the department.

The Brick Township Police Department's Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a motor vehicle stop shortly after 1 p.m. Monday on Old Hooper Avenue behind the Stop & Shop supermarket, and Larusso was arrested on an outstanding warrant and on charges of heroin possession, Pedersen said.
That stop led to a search by the Drug Enforcement Unit and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit at Larusso's home on North Pier Drive in the Sailors Quay section, and the search turned up the heroin and the crack cocaine, which was being packaged for distribution, Pedersen said. The marijuana and cash were found as well during the search, he said.
