• Brick Officials Raise Some Rates at Traders Cove Marina, Ramp Fees Stay Put (shorebeat.com) — Brick Township has approved higher 2026 rates for boat slips, storage, and several services at Traders Cove Marina on Mantoloking Road, while keeping ramp fees unchanged. Brick residents still get discounted per-foot pricing, but winter storage, transient docking, and hauling services will all cost more starting with the current season.    

• Lakewood father sentenced to 25 years in death of infant daughter (shorenewsnetwork.com) — A Lakewood father has been sentenced to 25 years in state prison for the death of his 3‑month‑old daughter, who was first rushed to Ocean University Medical Center in Brick before dying the next day. Investigators concluded the baby suffered fatal head trauma, and prosecutors later dropped charges against the child’s mother after the father’s guilty plea.
