Brick Cancels Memorial Day Parade For 2020 Due To Coronavirus
The parade was canceled out of concerns about social distancing and whether the state might still be under a stay-at-home order.

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township has canceled its Memorial Day parade due to concerns about the continuing impacts of the new coronavirus.
The cancellation was announced by the police department.
The parade had been scheduled for May 25, but "due to measures preventing the spread of coronavirus and in accordance with safe practices promulgated by Governor Murphy's executive orders," it was canceled.

Murphy on April 15 extended the executive order closing schools through May 15. Plans to begin reopening the state could be announced on Monday but it is not clear how long that rollout will take.
