Brick Fourth Of July Schedule: What's Open, What's Closed
The holiday will cause some changes in trash and recycling collection. See what else is affected.
BRICK, NJ — With the Fourth of July falling on a Tuesday this year, a lot of folks may be taking Monday off from work.
Not everyone, however. While Brick Township municipal offices and the public works department will be closed on Tuesday, the offices will be open on Monday, July 3.
Because of the closure on Tuesday, all public works collections will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week.

On Wednesday, the Board of Adjustment meeting that was scheduled for 7 p.m. has been canceled. The next regular meeting of the zoning board is scheduled for July 19 at 7 p.m. in the municipal building.
Federal and state offices are closed on Tuesday. There is no mail delivery.
