Officers stayed through dismissal and boosted patrols at surrounding schools, while similar hoaxes hit Howell and Wall, highlighting an unsettling trend of false threats disrupting local classrooms.

Lidl Opening Location In Toms River, NJ (wpst.com) — Ocean County shoppers who now drive to Lidl in Brick or Lanoka Harbor will soon have a closer option, as the discount grocer plans to move into the long-vacant former Foodtown on Route 37 in Toms River. A lease is signed for the 19,000-square-foot space, though no opening date has been announced yet.

No. 1 Donovan Catholic football stays unbeaten, showdown with No. 2 RBC next (app.com) — Shore Conference powerhouse Donovan Catholic stayed unbeaten with a 24-7 win over Point Pleasant Borough, setting up a No. 1 vs. No. 2 showdown with Red Bank Catholic next week.
