Brick Hires 5 Police Officers
The probationary officers will undergo training before joining the force full-time next summer.

BRICK, NJ — The Brick Township Police Department has five new probationary officers, after the four men were sworn in at the Township Council meeting last week.
Matthew Firneno, Anthony Barlowski, Christopher Robert Newlund Jr., Cody Oliverio, and Glen Pacyna, all were sworn in as probationary police officers.
They join a department that has 132 patrol officers.

Probationary officers go through training at the Ocean County Police Academy until next summer, before undergoing field training with current Brick Township police officers.
