Brick To Mark Memorial Day With Parade, Fallen Heroes Program
The Fallen Heroes program honors from Brick Township and is held at the VFW Post 8867.

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township will have two remembrances of those who gave their lives in the military during the coming Memorial Day weekend.
On Saturday, May 26, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8867 in Brick will be hosting a special presentation of the Brick Fallen Heroes. The presentation is set for 1 p.m. at the VFW building, 373 Adamston Road. In attendance will be family members of the fallen heroes.
On Monday, May 28, the township will hold its annual Memorial Day Parade. The parade steps off at 10 a.m. from the former Foodtown site and proceeds up to Chambers Bridge Road to the township Municipal Building, where a ceremony will follow. The parade is hosted by the the township along with Veterans of Foreign Wars 8867 and American Legion Post 348.

Heavy rain forced the cancellation of the 2017 Memorial Day parade; the 2016 ceremony was held inside Brick Township's municipal building in the council chambers.
